Hi Folks,
Writing to you on a rather dreary Belfast morning on the last day of September. There’s something I really love about the beginning of incessant autumnal rain. A turning inward of sorts. I wonder if Autumn is catching up with you too?
I’ve had a very gentle weekend and am in the midst of preparing for an Irish Tour with Lisa Hannigan this November. I have some new instruments (will share more in another post) and will also be embedding some new sonic elements into the set - très excité.
I have been a huge fan of Lisa’s work for many years, one turning point being Song Of The Sea. I had planned to write at length about how Song of the Sea opened worlds upon worlds of story, myth and song for me but I thought it better to offer Amhrán Na Farraige so you can enjoy those worlds for yourself.
